Neill Appointed to the Tax Court Committee
The ABA Tax Section has chosen Sara G. Neill, chair of the Capes Sokol Civil and Criminal Tax Controversy and Litigation group, to join the Appointments to The Tax Court Committee for a five year term, beginning July 1, 2016, ending June 30, 2021.
The committee is charged with reviewing the eligibility of United States Tax Court nominees and reappointments. After reviewing and deliberating on individuals in the manner directed by the Tax Section’s Standards for Evaluation, the committee submits a brief statement to the Senate Committee on Finance.
