Experience at Work

Sue has twenty years of experience representing agriculture companies, automobile manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, food companies and tobacco companies in class actions, mass consolidated cases, and individual cases involving product liability, consumer fraud, negligence and misrepresentation claims.

Her recent successes include securing a trial victory for Lorillard Tobacco Company in a cost-recovery lawsuit filed against the tobacco industry by dozens of hospitals and health care providers seeking more than $4 billion in compensatory damages.

In addition to serving as trial counsel in the courtroom, Sue takes an active role in developing case strategy, conducting depositions, preparing fact and expert witnesses and overseeing and directing all discovery.   Sue has extensive experience leading litigation teams in cases involving multiple industry defendants, directing the resources of multiple law firms, managing work flow, and synthesizing work product from numerous sources, to ensure the pretrial and trial processes are both efficient and effective.
