Experience at Work
As an attorney-CPA, Ross brings his multidisciplinary experience to the firm’s Business & Real Estate, Tax Controversy, and Trusts & Estates Practice Groups. He joined the firm as a Summer Associate in 2019 and continued to work with the firm as a Law Clerk during his last year of law school.
Ross focuses his practice on providing holistic wealth management support to individuals and businesses. He has experience in corporate governance, entity formation, estate planning, real estate contracts, secured transactions, and taxation. Ross relies on his extensive training and experience in taxation and accounting to advise clients across many industries on relevant federal and state tax matters.
During law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Barry S. Schermer of the Eastern District of Missouri Bankruptcy Court. Ross also served as a legal intern with Legal Services of Eastern Missouri in the Community Economic Development Unit and Neighborhood Vacancy Initiative.
Prior to law school, Ross worked in financial accounting and reporting for seven years at Caterpillar, Inc., a Fortune 100 company. Ross collaborated across numerous organizational layers to ensure financial reporting integrity and regulatory compliance.
In the Community
Ross volunteers at the pro bono legal clinic organized by Legal Services of Eastern Missouri and hosted by Grace Hill Settlement House. This bimonthly clinic, part of LSEM’s Community Economic Development Program, provides low income entrepreneurs and non-profits with legal assistance for their organizations.
