Experience at Work

Katie is a member of the Civil Litigation practice group and was previously a Summer Associate with Capes Sokol from 2016-2017. She has experience with a variety of litigation matters including business disputes, toxic tort, wrongful death, and employment discrimination.

During law school, Katie served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Saint Louis University Public Law Review and President of the Criminal Law Society. She also acquired trial and deposition experience through her work in the SLU LAW Legal Clinics and argued an appeal in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

In the Community

Outside of the office, Katie volunteers at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, planning and hosting holiday parties for patients. She has also volunteered at the Jefferson Barrack’s VA Hospital to assist veterans in executing durable powers of attorney and at multiple naturalization ceremonies in the City of St. Louis.
