Experience at Work
Alexa is a member of the Real Estate and Business & Finance Practice Groups. She has valuable experience with residential and commercial zoning compliance, complex commercial real estate transactions, and selection and formation of business entities. Early on, she identified Business & Real Property as substantive areas of interest, receiving a Bachelors in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and placing particular attention in her curriculum to courses pivotal to her chosen practice areas.
Alexa joined Capes Sokol as a Summer Associate in 2016 and continued working with the firm as a Law Clerk throughout her 3L year. In addition to her work at the firm, Alexa was a clinician in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic at Washington University School of Law and the Chief Primary Editor of the Washington University Global Studies Law Review.
Prior to attending law school, Alexa was a participant in the nationally-renowned Coro Fellows Program, which focuses on interdisciplinary civic leadership in government, business, labor, media, and not-for profit community organizations.
