Daniel R. Sokol presented seminars at the 10th Annual Missouri Bar Family Law Conference
Daniel R. Sokol presented seminars to family law attorneys from all parts of the state at the 10th Annual Missouri Bar Family Law Conference. This year’s conference attracted more than 400 attorneys and judges. Sokol, together with another attorney and a forensic CPA, presented a four-hour seminar on “The Business of Divorce.”

The seminar focused on business and financial aspects of divorce, including tax return analysis, examination of various business entities, review of applicable Missouri law, discussion of business valuation methodologies and a demonstration of the direct and cross-examination of a valuation expert at trial.
Dan is a skilled litigator and a trained mediator who represented individuals and families in complex, high-stakes, frequently emotionally charged and often high-profile family law proceedings, prior to his retirement at the end of 2014.
