Due to the growing client demand for our business and real estate services, we have created a new position for a full-time paralegal. The Business & Real Estate practice includes corporate governance, finance, real estate acquisitions, development, sales and leasing, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and intellectual property.
The ideal candidate must be intellectually curious, collaborative, detail-oriented, a self-starter, creative, organized, enthusiastic, and able to work independently. Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite are required. Our environment can be fast-paced and demanding. Under the supervision of one or more lawyers, the paralegal will draft correspondence and other documents, review and summarize due diligence materials, communicate with outside vendors such as title companies, lenders, and surveyors, assist with real estate and loan closings and post-closing matters, organize and maintain files (including corporate record books), and perform other miscellaneous tasks as requested.
Qualified candidates will possess an undergraduate degree and/or a paralegal certificate. Experience is not essential; we will train the right candidate. This position will have the opportunity to learn from and work closely with another highly experienced paralegal in the Business & Real Estate practice group.
