Capes Sokol Sponsors 2019 BAMSL Law Day and Annual Meeting

Capes Sokol is proud to be a diamond sponsor of the 2019 Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis “BAMSL” Law Day and Annual Meeting. The annual event will be held at the Missouri Athletic Club on Thursday, May 2, 2019.

 

About the Event: 2019 BAMSL Law Day and Annual Meeting

Law Day features the swearing in of the BAMSL Board of Governors and the presentation of the annual bar awards to members for leadership and service to the St. Louis legal community. Renowned presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize winning author, John Meacham, will deliver the keynote address at the event.

Sara G. Neill, Shareholder and Chair of Capes Sokol’s Tax Controversy and Litigation Practice Group, will be sworn in as the 2019- 2020 President of BAMSL at the event. She will deliver her Presidential address to the membership. Sara has been actively involved in BAMSL for several years.  She previously served as Treasurer and Vice President, and currently serves as President-Elect.  Sara has chaired the Taxation Section, Bench and Bar Conference Committee, and Finance Committee, and has been an active participant in the St. Louis Attorney’s Against Hunger project.
