Capes Sokol Marketing Director Schenk Honored as ‘Unsung Legal Hero’
Alexandra (Alex) Schenk, Marketing Director of Capes Sokol, was selected by Missouri Lawyers Weekly “MLW” as a 2018 Unsung Legal Hero – Legal Marketing Honoree. Alexandra is one of the three Legal Marketing honorees selected statewide for the 3rd annual Unsung Legal Heroes Awards.

“Since joining Capes Sokol three years ago, Alex has worked tirelessly to market our law firm and assist our attorneys with business development,” said Capes Sokol Shareholder Sara G. Neill. “She has been instrumental in helping us increase our revenue and develop a social media presence.”

Alexandra Schenk is not only the marketing director of Capes Sokol, she is the whole department, and a wildly successful department at that. In just three years on the job, she is credited with moving the firm into the 21st century by creating a significant social media presence, helping older attorneys to learn new technology, encouraging all of the attorneys to blog as a way to develop new business and planning numerous firm events and client presentations. She even redesigned the firm’s coffee mugs.
Missouri Lawyers Weekly Unsung Legal Heroes
The Unsung Legal Heroes awards are presented to the state’s most talented and dedicated legal support professionals. This annual award recognizes, “the law firm employees who have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes.”
The honorees are chosen from seven different categories: Accounting, Firm Administrator, Information Technology, Legal Marketing, Legal Secretary, Office Manager, and Paralegal.
