Al-Shathir Elected To the American College of Tax Counsel
The law firm of Capes Sokol is pleased to announce that Laura E. Krebs Al-Shathir, Capes Sokol Shareholder, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel (the “College”).
Membership in the College, a prestigious professional association established in 1981, is reserved for an elite group of tax attorneys in recognition of their exceptional reputations and contributions to the field of tax law.
In order to be elected a Fellow of the College, nominees must meet established criteria and undergo an arduous screening process. Fellows of the College, representing the top seven hundred tax attorneys across the United States, are renowned for their commitment to a “high standard of excellence and ethical performance in the practice of tax law.”
Laura is the 3rd member of Capes Sokol to achieve this distinction. Sanford J. Boxerman and David V. Capes were elected Fellows of the American College of Tax Counsel in 2016.
