Michelle F. Schwerin, an Associate of Capes Sokol, was chosen by the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA)  selection committee as the 2017 Impact Award – Outstanding Young Professional Awardee.

The Outstanding Young Professional award honors and supports CPAs 35 and under who serve as emerging and dynamic leaders in the profession.  Candidates for this award are evaluated based on their active involvement in the profession, support of the CPA credential, and professional volunteerism.

As she takes on a larger role as a tax attorney she has continued to serve her fellow CPAs by furthering their technical abilities, educating our future professionals and doing her part to ensure the Missouri Society of CPAs is a great resource for the professionals of our state.”
