Clients seek Nancy K. Troutman’s counsel for her expertise and exceptional sensitivity to the emotional aspects of estate planning and probate law.  As counsel at Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan, P.C., she concentrates her practice exclusively in the firm’s Estate Planning & Probate Administration practice group.

Ms. Troutman counsels individuals and families in the creation of trusts, wills, financial and health care powers of attorney and living wills. She offers her clients sound legal advice as they consider important personal, legal and financial decisions in estate planning with particular attention to unique family circumstances. She also assists in the administration of estates, the establishment of guardianships and conservatorships and other matters involving the probate court.

Ms. Troutman was previously employed by The Sestric Law Firm where she was first hired as the firm’s receptionist. Working her way through college and law school, she ultimately rose to the position of associate before joining Capes Sokol in 2002 as an associate and then counsel.

Ms. Troutman is licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri. She is an active member of her church where she serves on the Board of Directors as treasurer and volunteers with teens.
