Andrew H. Westbrook joins Capes Sokol as new associate

Andrew H. Westbrook joined Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan, P.C. as a new associate in February 2012. Mr. Westbrook graduated cum laude from Washington University School of Law in May 2011, where he was an Executive Notes Editor of the Washington University Global Studies Law Review. During law school, he clerked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois, as well as for Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation. Prior to attending law school, he gained valuable experience as an International Move Manager with UniGroup Worldwide, providing individualized client service and logistics for international corporate relocations. Mr. Westbrook received Bachelor’s degrees summa cum laude in Economics and French from the University of Arkansas.

Mr. Westbrook is licensed to practice law in Missouri and will provide assistance in a variety of the firm’s practice areas, with a concentration in business and real estate transactions.

Callie J. Tucker joined Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan, P.C. as a new associate in February, 2012. Ms. Tucker graduated with honors from Washington University School of Law, where she was Executive Editor of the Washington University Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Tucker gained valuable experience as an Account Executive in the Chicago office of public relations agency Ruder Finn, providing communications strategy and support to clients in the consumer and enterprise technology industries. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from Northwestern University. Ms. Tucker is licensed to practice law in Missouri and will be providing assistance in a variety of the firm’s practice areas, with a concentration in the areas of business and real estate transactions.

Gary R. Sarachan appointed as chair to Missouri Supreme Court Regional Disciplinary Committee

Attorney Douglas S. Dove has become Counsel to CSGS, joining the Business & Finance and Real Estate Practice Groups.

Mr. Dove brings a wealth of experience in complex banking, commercial and construction transactions. He began his career as a general practitioner in his hometown of Shelbyville, Illinois, where he continues to serve on the Board of Directors of both Shelby County Bancorp, Inc. and Shelby County State Bank. In St. Louis, Mr. Dove previously practiced with Rabbitt, Pitzer & Snodgrass and Schlichter, Bogard & Denton.

Mr. Dove is a graduate of the Washington University Law School (1992) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from DePauw University (1989). His diverse experience includes FELA work; right of way work for AT&T and affiliated telecommunications companies (involving litigation and transactions) around the country; complex commercial and construction dispute litigation; bank lending and regulatory compliance; and a variety of commercial transactions.
